On the morning of the 21st of April 2018 the group of South Africans woke up for their first morning in Stockholm, breakfast was a DIY job but it was also very rushed. Once we were out of the clubhouse we caught our usual bus [bus no. 401] to Haga for the 5km Park Run
After that, we walked about 20m to do our morning training session, which consisted of 3 loops of controls about 1km in distance for each. On Tinus's very first loop while out rolled his ankle.
The gentleman who started Park Run in Sweden.
I found that the training sessions were pretty easy compared to some of the other sessions that we have done so far. The terrain in Sweden is completely different to the South African terrain, mainly in terms of the mapping and contours. I really enjoy the surroundings in Sweden, they're so much more interesting to South Africa's surroundings.
